Nutritional Scientist: Dr. Thienna Ho, on "VeeVee's POV (Dec. 2nd)

Dr. Thiênna Ho, is the creator of The Sulfur Diet. She is considered to be one the world’s leading experts in human skin color and skin health. She has earned five academic degrees, including a Ph.D in Scientific Nutrition.

She has triumphed over incredible adversity. Thirty years ago, Thiênna Ho and her family were Vietnamese boat people. She was 11 years old when she survived a brutal attack by Thai pirates during their voyage to their new home in San Francisco.

In addition to her academic achievements, Dr. Thiênna is also a world-class athlete and holds four Guinness World Records. She credits her sulfur-rich diet for the ability to set all 4 records after the age of 40 and within 2.5 years.

2) Longest Samson's Chair (static wall sit for 11 hours, 51 minutes, and 14 seconds)
3) Heaviest Weight Deadlifted in One Minute (3,864 pounds)

Her book, Eat Your Way to Lighter Skin: The All-Natural, Inexpensive, Easy Way to a Clear and Healthy Complexion, is the winner of seven book awards.

Her newest book has just been released: Cooking On The Light Side: Smart Recipes For Bright Skin and Vitality.

Dr. Thiênna is also the founder of THIENNA INC., the science-based developer, manufacturer and marketer of a nutritional supplements and skin care products line that is strictly natural and is part of her nutrient-based approach to skin health.

Dr. Thiênna has been featured in Exceptional People Magazine, AsianWeek, Dermatology Times, and other publications, as well as in a number of television and radio interviews. On August 3, 2010, she broke her third Guinness World Record Live on the Good Day Sacramento Set and on August 14, 2010, NBC News covered her 4th Guinness World Record story in San Francisco Local Television News. On September 3rd, 2010, she went to San Diego Living for a live cooking segment.

Writer/Producer: Elizabeth "Liz" Turner, on "VeeVee's POV (November 18th)

Elizabeth Turner was born and raised in the beautiful state of Winston-Salem, North Carolina.  She is the youngest of 5 children whom were all raised in Happy Hill Gardens, which were the projects. She had her first child at the age of 17 and from there her life was one rocky road. Today, she is the mother of 3 wonderful children, David 21, Brittany 18 & Eric 14. She also has a grandson, Jayden 14 months old. She left NC back in 2004 headed for Florida to follow an unknown dream.

She has been writing poetry and stories since she was in elementary school. Once she settled in Jacksonville Florida she decided to continue writing and one day decided to write a stage play. At the time she wasn’t sure what she was going to call it but she knew that it was going to be about brotherhood and sisterhood. She has experiences so much in her lifetime including being homeless that she felt the need to try to help at least one person.

Today, she has a 17 cast member play titled “My Brotha-My Sista” that is set to debut in January 2011. The production has been asked to be brought to several states and cities throughout the United States.  This production will be available on DVD as well as a soundtrack that is currently in the production stage as we speak. Also, she has a book of poetry titled “Not Looking Back” that will be available in December.

Writer/Producer: Saprina Willis, on "VeeVee's POV (November 11th)


Saprina Willis is a native of Syracuse, NY and currently resides in Raleigh, NC. She is married with 4 children and works as a nurse although her first passion is acting/writing. She has done theatre work with the Paul Robeson Center of Syracuse, NY, where she played ''Young Mary McLeod Bethune'' in a tribute to Mary McLeod Bethune. 

She has performed in other stage plays such as ''Bang No More'', ''Life, Love and the Pursuit of Happiness’’, and also appeared as an extra in the movie '' Notorious B.I.G.’’ This definitely will not be the last time seeing Saprina as she climbs the wall of success.
